Bluff Lodge

Hi I am Karen Workman and this is the family gathering for my recent 60th birthday. My sis Jackie, my son Marcel, mum and me and then Asryal and Shene, my grand daughters outside a church in Queenstown. My mum lives in Greytown in South Wairarapa, so it a historic moment having her come and stay in Bluff, and travel to Queenstown with us.

This is how you spot our Lodge from Bluff Harbour. It is the bright building, old post office. 120 Gore Street, Bluff, (not 12 as Google maps has us listed). Lex had the helpx people out fishing in his boat.

Irene and George from Austria, just left us after a week on Stewart Island. They were here as helpers and it worked very well indeed. They were hard workers and showed us how to cook beautiful apricot dumplings Kevin was here also. Kevin is a mate of Lex's from Christchurch. He bought ice cream every day for the helpers.
